Netcompany's groundbreaking tax solution launches in a new European country

For the third time in only six months, Netcompany has partnered with a European country to implement its SOLON TAX solution. The Greek tax authorities are the latest to embark on an ambitious digital transformation enabled by SOLON TAX.

During 2024, both the Swedish and Lithuanian tax authorities adopted the solution as a fundamental part of their national tax systems. Now, Greece is set to implement Netcompany’s groundbreaking SOLON TAX solution to modernise its core tax infrastructure.

In Greece, SOLON TAX will serve as the cornerstone of a comprehensive end-to-end digital transformation, replacing multiple legacy systems and modernising hundreds of processes. The solution will enhance the efficiency, simplicity, and security of tax collection while equipping authorities with new tools to combat tax evasion. Both citizens and businesses will benefit from modern self-service solutions, ensuring a faster and more intuitive user experience.

»In a time of growing demand for robust, reliable, and cohesive European critical infrastructure, we at Netcompany are proud to continue our progress in introducing platforms and products such as SOLON TAX, created to serve as the backbone of critical and complex societal systems«

Lars Langer, Partner, Netcompany

Tailored to European tax administrations, SOLON TAX is a modular and future-proof solution, offering seamless and flexible adaptability to evolving legislation and user demands.

»With the agreements in Sweden, Lithuania, and now Greece, we demonstrate the strength of SOLON TAX as a scalable solution tailored to national requirements, EU legislation, and international agreements. Our solution enables faster and more efficient implementation of changes, helping tax authorities manage an increasingly dynamic and complex global tax environment. These advantages have generated significant interest from tax administrations both in Europe and internationally,« says Alex Manos, CEO, Netcompany-Intrasoft.

Valued at €70 million and spanning five years, the agreement with the Greek tax authorities builds on Netcompany’s strong foundation in Greece. Its subsidiary, Netcompany-Intrasoft, the country’s leading IT supplier, is already delivering impactful digital solutions across the public and private sectors.

During the past year, Netcompany has successfully established numerous partnerships across different countries and industries. The latest international milestone was reached in December with a major deal involving Munich Airport, the second-largest airport in Germany.
