Job Description
Joining us as a Junior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be trained in our Product Academy and work as a part of our highly skilled agile teams within our in-house developed software products, that impact the life of millions of EU citizens.
As part of the Academy, you will rotate through multiple roles, including Software Development & Delivery, Software Testing, and Business Analysis & Product Management, to build a well-rounded understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Our blended approach in learning combines classroom trainings, online modules, job shadowing & mentoring, while you will receive continuous feedback on your progress.
Joining us as a Junior Software Engineer, you will:
- Contribute to all phases of full-cycle IT projects, from requirements analysis to customization, specifications for any development needed, UAT support, user training
- Develop and maintain code, application libraries and produce technical documentation
- Develop innovative concepts and implement sophisticated consulting solutions
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand user needs and deliver valuable features
- Act as a business advisor to the clients.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline. Master's degree will be considered as a plus
- Analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: Java, Spring, Spring boot, Microservices Architecture, Angular, React, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Selenium and Cucumber
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- A customer-oriented personality, with attention to detail
- Solid command of the English language (written & verbal).
