Job Description

We are looking for an Onsite Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis to drive forward our delivery capability and deliver the optimum solutions to the clients. Based in London, this is a great opportunity to join one of the most exciting, innovative, prestigious, and forward-thinking technology-enabled organisations in the UK.

This is an onsite role as a member of a team working in both remote and onsite support deliveries.

Due to the client requirements, you will be required to work onsite 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1 to 3 years of IT end-user support experience.
  • Strong technical skills in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows desktops.
  • Experience with Office 365 Administration.
  • Experience of supporting Intune managed devices.
  • A basic understanding of computer networks and security fundamentals in and end user environment.
  • General knowledge of using Active Directory (AD) in an end user support capacity.
  • Ability to work independently, triage IT issues, and escalate to third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with no issues communicating effectively at executive or VIP levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Responsive to executive support requests that must be fulfilled as a priority.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in their role.
  • Can learn and understand the importance of the clients and their business environments.
  • The ability to be flexible, covering one London client primarily, but others when cover is needed.
Qualifications
  • Possess a strong customer service mindset and understand the importance of positively supporting the business and the team you work in.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively within a structured framework.
  • Strong technical skills in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows systems.
  • Solid understanding of computer networks, security, and meeting room technologies.
  • Experience using Active Directory/Azure Entra AD for identity and access management.
  • TCP/IP and DNS troubleshooting experience.
  • Good experience in enterprise IT support and providing end-user support across a wide technology stack.
  • Solid knowledge of the Windows 11 platform and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, triage IT issues, and escalate to third-party vendors where necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with no issues communicating at executive or VIP levels.

 

Additional Information

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be reliable and flexible.
  • Hours of work will be between 08:00 - 18:00, with an 8-hour working day staggered across the 10-hour timeframe.
